About this role
As the IT Manager at Stake, you will lead the IT team and play a pivotal role in empowering employees, both in the Sydney office and globally, to perform at their best. This involves comprehensive management of IT infrastructure, including the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware, software, and network services. You will be responsible for planning and executing IT projects and initiatives, ensuring a reliable and efficient IT environment. Collaborating closely with the DevSecOps and Engineering teams, you will maintain a best-in-class
tech stack at Stake, while also working with broader Stake teams to address their diverse IT requirements.
Key deliverables
Office Environment and Connectivity
Monitor and troubleshoot issues with office IT equipment, ensure that all equipment is in working order and provide support to employee usage of office equipment.
Manage Office IT hardware & software lifecycles including printers, video conferencing devices, TVs, WIFI, LAN and WAN devices and connections etc.
Plan for upgrades and implement new office infrastructure components for example, printers, video conferencing devices, TVs, WIFI , LAN and WAN devices and connections etc.
Work with vendors where required for the provisioning of new infrastructure or software systems and the ongoing support of them.
System Administration
Work with SaaS system owners to ensure appropriate configurations are used, for example integration with Stake IdP and appropriate usage of role based access controls
Manage Single Sign On (SSO) and ensure SaaS platforms are appropriately integrated
Configure and manage the back-office tooling that supports the business locally and globally;
Desktop Support and Security
Provide on-site and remote IT support for Stake employees, and escalate to vendors or external support services where required
Manage IT hardware lifecycles, ensuring appropriate hardware and software is provided to Stake employees
Manage Stake employee lifecycles including onboarding and offboarding and consisting of both hardware and software
Manage patch management ensuring software and operating systems are regularly updated
Manage software licenses for desktop and user tooling and ensure compliance is maintained
Work closely with the Security team to ensure appropriate controls are in place to meet security standards and ensure that all endpoints (mobiles, laptops, tablets) are secured according to the cyber security policy
Work closely with business stakeholders communicating forecasts for equipment
Manage and utilise Mobile Device Management (MDM) to ensure a consistent and standard operating environment
Work with vendors where required for the acquisition of new devices or software systems and the ongoing support of them
Enforce company IT policies including appropriate use and BYOD policies
Documentation and Policies
Own the global IT asset registry, ensuring accuracy is maintained
Create, maintain, and advise on documentation regarding Stake’s IT policies including desktop support, acceptable use, and BYOD policies
Create, maintain, and advise on documentation and user guides for common tooling and office equipment
Manage IT related procedures ensuring they are up to date, including process for the onboarding and offboarding of employees, and the corresponding hardware and software setup
Create and maintain documentation for Office infrastructure, including support and escalation procedures
