At Grosvenor Casinos, we don’t just offer a place to work — we offer a place to belong.
Our casinos sit at the heart of communities across the UK. They’re more than venues — they’re vibrant, welcoming spaces where people come together to play with purpose, relax with friends, and enjoy brilliant food, drink, and entertainment. And right now, we’re on an exciting journey of growth — to become the UK's most loved casinos.
That’s where you come in.
It’s an exciting time to join Rank’s Communications & Engagement team! In May 2024, we launched our award-winning comms and engagement app, connect, marking the start of a transformative shift in how we engage with colleagues across our global business. connect replaces the traditional intranet with a modern, social-style platform designed to future-proof how we share information, celebrate success, and connect with one another. It’s fast becoming the go-to place for everything our teams need to work, win and grow at Rank.
We’re now looking for an Internal Communications Executive to join our Internal Comms team on an initial 8-month Fixed Term Contract (until the end of June 2026) based one day a week in our Maidenhead office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, acting as the dedicated communications partner for Mecca Bingo, while also shaping the next phase of connect’s development. You’ll lead the migration of content from SharePoint to connect’s new Knowledge Base, developing a clear framework, tone of voice, and supporting guidance for contributors across the business.
You will craft and deliver engaging, relevant internal comms, from campaign content and colleague updates to resources that support managers and teams. You will also help elevate the Mecca brand through compelling storytelling on Mecca’s LinkedIn, showcasing what it’s like to work, win and grow at Mecca Bingo.
This role will suit someone creative, highly organised, and passionate about helping people feel informed, inspired, and connected.
Our new Internal Communications Executive should be adept in digital comms and social media platforms, have proficiency in using software to enhance internal comms, and have experience delivering internal comms across a multi-site business.
Previous experience in an internal comms role is preferred, along with collaborative problem-solving skills, the confidence to challenge decisions not in the best interests of colleagues, and a positive and proactive attitude.
You should also demonstrate a keen eye for detail, excellent writing and proofreading skills, and the ability to manage confidential information. Ideally, you should already have a background in comms and have strong project management abilities.
