Role Overview:
The SEU AdTech manager will be the technical expert within the Marketing Insights team with a focus on finding innovative solutions to automation and to optimise the tracking of all SEU digital marketing. The role will work closely with the paid media team, supporting the impact of the paid media strategy & expanding the data available for personalisation and segmentation to enable a better customer experience. The AdTech manager will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy, robustness and effectiveness of our marketing performance reporting & ultimately will be key to driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our performance marketing spend.
While sat within the SEU Marketing Insights team, the AdTech manager will liaise closely with the Head of Media, Head of Brand & Creative and with various partners including Google & Meta. Supporting and building these core relationships, the role will drive forward our regional initiatives while managing the day-to-day stability and smooth performance of our tracking infrastructure. The role will also interact heavily with the wider SEA organisation, helping to standardise and implement best practice across AdTech teams.
What you’ll do:
Development & delivery of the SEU AdTech roadmap, aligned to the wider Marketing Insights & reporting roadmaps to deliver optimised technology solutions to support SEU Marketing growth ambitions & to improve customer experience
Represent the Insights team as the AdTech subject matter expert who is responsible for the day-to-day management, stability and performance of our digital tracking solutions
Work closely with Media, Engagement, Partners & Product teams to troubleshoot and identify improvements to our AdTech capabilities
Identify new developments & opportunities in AdTech and collaborate with key peers & partners to influence key stakeholders to prioritise and improve AdTech capabilities & speed of delivery & resolution of tracking issues
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide proactive solutions
Lead the onboarding of these new AdTech solutions to maximise the benefits of any new solution
Ensure clear reporting & tracking of critical issues & visibility and future AdTech requirements and needs are captured and understood by key teams & stakeholders
Build a leading data capture capability across all digital marketing assets
What you’ll bring:
Extensive experience in Ad Tech and marketing tech delivery & innovation
Data industry understanding and interest and exposure to data solutions
3+ years of previous experience in the AdTech field, ideally in the online gambling industry
Explicit experience of set up, configuration and usage of tools including but not limited to Adobe, GTM, GA4, Appsflyer, Flashtalking etc.
Passion & experience in data automation and leveraging new tech solutions
Ambitious and self-driven individual
Proactive and able to work independently
Strong communicator with ability to build relationships across diverse teams
Strong analytical thinker with ability to clearly present regular status updates on the RAG status of SEU AdTracking
Able to proactively uncover and communicate problems and opportunities, prioritise findings based on recommendations believed to deliver the best return, steadfastly chase solutions, and share results.
Experience in matrix leading teams in systems/technical analysis and data capabilities.
Worked alongside product organisations delivering great customer experiences.
Exposure to / awareness of Agile methodologies and processes.
Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects.
Experience working with Globally distributed teams.
Knowledge of business processes supporting marketing automation.
